You need to look and see who is clapping for your articles.

Are they paid members or just general medium subscribers?

Go to the list of people who follow and unfollow everyone who isn’t a paid member. You want to cultivate a following of people, who, if they clap for you will generate revenue.

Each day find 5 to 10 member posts and read, comment and clap for their articles. Better still if you find an article of there's that has 0 to less than 10 claps and no comments.

If you do that you’ll find that your follower account and revenue will increase.
