Well, to answer your question — no I don’t think (most) of the Medium publications accept submissions any more.

They are all apart of Medium’s hiring spree. If you look at most of the writers they have 1 or 2 Medium stories and that’s it. They are freelancers or in-house writers.

Also, as far as I can tell — indie creators can only get into these pubs if you write an article and self-publish it (I’m not sure they will look at if it is in another publication) and they like they will invite you to submit to them.

Human Parts has prompts they choose from. So you write the article and use their tag. But yeah from my initial look and reading around most are closed to submissions.
