Poetry is not a priority for Medium. And my title aside, I think Medium is indifferent to it and doesn’t care if it gets caught up in their changes.

There’s no literary Medium pub for example.

So they may not be trying to kill it outright — I’m a top writer in poetry for example — but it will land you in Curation Jail if you write enough of them and don’t get curated. Which is very likely.
