It took me halfway through the essay to realize you were black.

And the kids you served were they black, Hispanic what?

As a black woman, you should understand why that POC foolishness is just that foolishness and it’s hard to gauge the problem when the race of the people involved isn’t clear.

As far as the essay itself…I mean that’s what it like dealing with white people. They needed you for some street cred, but weren’t interested in your opinions. Pretty typical.
