Most stories on Medium don’t get 50 views and most don’t get 10 claps.

Those are the type of stories that will make up the bulk of your income here.

Stories that bring in $1 to $10. That’s what gets you to $100, $500. $1000.

It was a good story and it did well. The story wasn’t a failure, your expectations for what a success looks like was what was off.

So I’m glad you’re back and if you keep writing you will have more successes and bigger numbers to show for it.
