I understand how the system works.

But just b/c a draft is in the queue doesn’t mean someone should publish it.

I always schedule my posts and then do one last look over before it is time to publish. That’s standard for me.

I know making everyone an editor has its drawbacks, but I think the good outweighs the bad, and if everyone would just focus on their own drafts this issue wouldn’t be a problem anymore.
